Heya everyone,

I don’t have a lot of time to do a big write-up this week, so I’ll just point towards a short I wrote a while ago and quietly sneak out of the room.

The short is called The Joint and revolves around a teenage girl returning somewhere familiar and feeling out of place – just not in the way you think.

Read it here! Save a tree, read it on your computer at work, show it to your boss and finally get that raise you deserve. Or print it and read it at leisure, ya damn tree killer.

Because I usually write screenplays, the task of writing something where the words are not just production tools and have their own artistic meaning felt extremely daunting. Nevertheless, I’m pretty proud of the tone I managed to strike. It feels very much like a short film – only on paper. Which, I guess, is a good thing.

Anyway, gotta go now.

No, you put the phone down first!

Love ya too mom.
